Blitz is German for lightning. I think it is a good word, very fast, very descriptive the way it sounds, the "i" conveying light.While painting this scene, I tried to see it all happening in slow motion, with sparks illuminating way more than the exact path of the flash, but still with the surprise element of a bolt out of the blue. Or, the purple, in this case.
